Dante Boccuzzi, the James Beard Award-nominated chef behind popular local eateries such as DANTE, Ginko, Dante Next Door, Dante’s Inferno and DBA, will open Goma, a new Japanese fusion concept at Pinecrest.
Goma (Japanese for “sesame”) will feature an extensive selection of sushi rolls and shareable plates along with a large sake menu complete with sake-infused cocktails. The menu draws upon Boccuzzi’s worldwide award-winning culinary career, which includesserving as executive chef at Nobu/Milan, where he worked directly with Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Armani at the Armani flagship establishment.
“Goma will be a modern Japanese, energetic, engaging experience,” said Dante Boccuzzi. “This will be represented within the cuisine, the décor and the service. I am very excited to launch my new sushi concept at Pinecrest.”
Goma is expected to open this summer and will be open daily for lunch and dinner. In addition to the main dining area, the restaurant will feature an outdoor patio and rentable space for private events.
